Of all the currencies we fight for these days, it’s no wonder attention is one of the scarcest. Especially when we spend so much time turning ourselves into gas giants with big gravity wells trying to suck in the attention of others by focusing inward.

Insidious, agreed. But it makes me think of warriors telling their own tales around the campfire. At the moment, it’s the most effective means of getting your primary exposure. It’s when the bards come along that things will get interesting.
